The Risk Management Specialist develops and implements risk management program that successfully impacts Workers’ Compensation and Employee Safety.  This position oversees the administration and communication of the Agency Employee Benefits Program. Implements short and long range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures related to risk management and workers’ compensation, safety and benefit plan. Must be flexible and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

A LPN certification or RN license preferred. Three to five years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities described above, to include supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate at all levels of the Agency. The ability to analyze pertinent data, identify trends and problems that affect the success of the employee benefit/workers’ compensation program. A proven track record of positions of increasing responsibility. Knowledge of common desktop computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software). A creative, dedicated hands-on professional who is flexible with time and job requirements.
