Day Hab Associates provide direct care for adults in a safe, stimulating, age-appropriate environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of each individual in his/her care. 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure Safety and Well Being of Residents – maintain focus and attend to details regarding the safety and well-being of the residents, including following protocols and proper procedures for personal care, lifting and transportation
  • Individual Life Planning – adhere to the Comprehensive Functional Assessment (CFA) or the Individual Service Plan (ISP) prepared for each individual in the residence and assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADL)/functional living skills allowing as much independence as possible
  • Personal Care – assist adults with personal care/hygiene needs
  • Environmental Maintenance – participate in the creation of a stimulating, safe, home-like, age appropriate residence for each individual.
  • Family Connections – interact with individual’s family members in a respectful, positive manner
  • Staff Relationships – operate as a respectful dependable member of the team.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • No previous experience necessary.
  • Candidates must be able to teach personal and professional development through functional activities.
  • Must have a positive, professional attitude and presentation, good communication and organizational skills.
