Under the leadership of the CFO, The Controller will ensure that systems and procedures are in place to support effective planning, program implementation and oversight, and flawless audits. This position will work closely and serve as the principal liaison to the external auditors and vendors to whom we subcontract, such as payroll, HR, and benefits administration. The Controller will prepare, analyze and interpret regular financial reports for management information and control.  The Controller will supervise a staff of 15+ for regular processing of billings, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll processing and General Ledger reporting.  Strong leadership and organizational skills required.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3 to 5 years as a Controller in health or long term care required. Public accounting experience in not-for-profit health or long term care preferred. CPA preferred. Knowledge and experience with NYS Funding Sources (OPWDD, SED and DOH) preferred.
