Recognizing a severe lack of opportunities for informational exchange between families and professionals, The Center for Discovery has embarked on a mission to create a place where that exchange and research can occur. Our experience has proven that disability is a family affair, and that professionals need to be more deeply connected with families in order to solve problems. The Carrus Institute provides a place for global "partnerships" between families and professionals where the exchange of knowledge, data, advice, insights, training, and research can easily take place. These partnerships will lead to positive connections, as well as major breakthroughs and even cures, for certain disorders, abnormalities, behavioral conditions, and medical challenges that are long overdue.
